Voro Heads North with Plans for Growth
New Custom Headquarters + Community Events Space
Big changes are coming to Voro this summer after we signed a lease in December 2019 for new office headquarters in Northeast Minneapolis’ historic Soap Factory building. While plenty of agencies relocate, this move – and destination – is pretty special to us as it’s a chance to become part of one of the most vibrant and diverse neighborhoods in the Twin Cities today. It’s also a return to Northeast Minneapolis where our first office opened in 2012.
Only a block north of St. Anthony Main on the Mississippi, the move also means access to significantly more green space, the Stone Arch Bridge, bike and walking paths, abundant parking and all kinds of restaurants and coffee shops. In fact, a big wish list item when we sat down with our architecture and design firm, Studio BV, was creating a modular and creative environment that’s inspiring and energizing for our team. The space had to be large enough to double our head count over time but also offer flexibility to host industry and community events.
The Soap Factory has a hundred years of local history within its walls: the home of National Purity Soap Company and until recently, one of the Twin Cities’ most notable independent non-profit art galleries. So we’re thrilled to play a part in writing it’s next chapter. Watch this space for renderings and open house details soon.
