Voro Launches Comprehensive Upskilling Program
The best client work goes beyond simply meeting deadlines and delivering what was promised. While these are important aspects of success in agency-client relationships, having well-trained and skilled team members is also essential as a baseline. However, at Voro, we are constantly striving to improve ourselves and our team members. We ask ourselves, “How can we be better? How can we work more harmoniously supporting each other?”
Upgraded Learning and Training Practices
To achieve our goal of becoming a more well-rounded and harmonious team, we have recently upgraded our learning and training practices. We have spent a lot of time aligning our people’s individual growth with our strategic goals as a growing business. This includes implementing training programs such as Positive Intelligence, which is designed to enhance personal well-being and workplace relationships.
We have also allocated billable learning time and a budget for every team member to ensure that they are personally enriched and up-to-date with industry news and developments related to our clients’ businesses. We recognize that everyone learns differently, so we have individualized our training to accommodate various learning styles, including video instruction and informal thought and opinion sharing through activities like the Voro book club.
Knowledge is Power for Growth
At Voro, we believe that knowledge is power for growth. This is why we have added more training to our already robust program of agency learning, in the form of assessments. Every staff member is going through a DISC assessment, as is Voro as a firm, to gain insights into their strengths, weaknesses, and qualities. We are also taking part in Chloe Valdary’s Theory of Enchantment training, which focuses on anti-racism, social and emotional learning, and interpersonal skills. In the summer, we will continue our annual program of Gallup Strength surveys to benchmark our progress as a company and community.
